The Forest Fire award (villain) goes to Bochy and Adrian Gonzales…. Bochy for not pulling Zito one batter earlier. And Adrian Gonzales for breaking up the phillies no-hit bid and basically won the game, keeping the padres cushion intact.

Why don’t I hear you tearing management a new one?

- First and foremost…… no matter what I say and how many times I say it….. nothing will get done. 

- Secondly in my mind I really fail to see what they have done that warrants the kind of blathering I see regularly on comment sections, and on CC. Sure we have “Mired” in a sort of slump from post season play for the last 6ish years, but is it sooooo bad? Our ticket prices are not terrible, our pitching is pretty amazing, most games are exciting or too exciting, we have a team that I think can compete. If I were a fan of…… Pittsburg, seattle, san diego, Rangers, Rockies, Astros, Brewers, Rays, Nationals, or Cleveland I would find it acceptable to have 205 comments on a Lineup Post, most of which are vile slandering of the management. 

- Thirdly……. I get a lot of things wrong. 

- Fourthly……. I have a life.
