Game Recap Rules
This page is here just to let you know how to read my game recaps. I think they are self explanatory but I guess I should lay out the ground rules before the season begins.
First off there will be two types of game recaps during the season. The first will be the extensive recap, which generally means that I have actually watched the game and have been paying attention.
In general my recaps will consist of a couple parts….
1st… there will be “Screen-shot of the day” soo, ya that is what it sounds like.
2nd… There will be a rating system…. I call this rating system the NRS system. (stands for Neukom Rating System). This will rate how well the Giants handle the fundamentals of baseball which Mr. Neukom is “all about”.
If the team sucks at the fundamentals they get 1 Neukom.
If they excited the fundamental brilliantly they get 5 Neukoms.
3rd… I will have a “Villan of the game” as well as a “Hero of the game” and they will be represented by various good guys and bad guys.
example: The Hans Gruber (villan) award goes to Edgar Renteria for sucking in general during this game
The John McClane (hero) award goes to Bruce Bochy for finally sucking it up and taking Wellemeyer out during his 5th inning implosion.
Then I will probably throw some of my thoughts about the game in there in the end.
The second variety will be childish gibberish and crappy screen-shots. This generally means that I am TCB in some other aspect of my life. Hopefully this doesn’t happen too often but, you know…. things come up….like drinking with friends, or going to a show, or working on some music, or spending quality time with my wonderful woman.
